Race Event Summary

The 2024 Highlands 9 to 5 Lemons event was so successful, we're doing it all again!
If you missed out last time, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE to race for 9 HOURS around NZ's fruitiest track - complete with Woop Woops and Bridge - and maybe some stray possums...

About this race event

Whether you're a newbie, an experienced knucklehead or a budget-conscious bludger, you'll feel right at home. Teams of 4 (or more) drivers will try coaxing their 'racecars' around the full track at Highlands - Sort out a THEME for your car and DRESS-UP your team - this is Lemons, after all, and the Judges will be hungry for dishing out crazy penalties...

Q: Who can enter?
A: Anyone 18yrs+ with half-a-brain that holds a New Zealand road license.
Anyone under this age needs to be approved (contact Damon Leitch at Highlands).

Access for Competitors to set up is from Friday the 7th November at 10am.
A Meet & Greet Drinks evening to welcome all competitors is set for Friday November 7th between 5pm - 7pm in the bar above pit Lane!

We've managed to sneak in some OVERTIME - now we can race until 6pm on NZ's most challenging (and weirdest) track!

* All competitors must have a valid MEGA Membership to participate (annual $49 fee)

BRING YOUR OWN Marquee (or EZY-UP). Teams will be allocated 6m x 6m outdoor spaces (NO POWER PROVIDED)!

FEES (incl gst):
1 x CAR (team) entry @ $699
1 x DRIVER entry (4 minimum) @ $499 each
1 x CREW member (working on car) @ $99 each
1 x TRANSPONDER for event @ $69
